20-year underground construction veteran named VP of Prime Resins

(UI) – Carboline announced that Jeremy Sukola has been named Vice President of Prime Resins.

Jeremy Sukola

Sukola, who will continue in his role as Water and Wastewater Market Manager for Carboline, brings to this new leadership role extensive experience spanning over 20 years in the underground construction and corrosion control industry.

"Prime Resins has been the best at what it does for decades," said Sukola. "Together, Carboline and Prime Resins comprise a novel asset protection solution for owners and users of critical water and wastewater infrastructure. That's why I’m thrilled—and humbled—to take on this new role."

Based in Conyers, GA, Prime Resins has manufactured high-performance grouts, foams, and adhesives for repair and protection of vital infrastructure since 1982. RMP International, Inc., acquired Prime Resins in 2017 and then aligned the brand under Carboline in 2023.

Sukola's new role further strengthens that alignment, positioning Carboline and Prime Resins as the water and wastewater industry's only comprehensive provider of leak sealing, concrete repair and resurfacing, and water and wastewater corrosion control coatings and linings.

"Jeremy has been instrumental to our continued strong growth in water and wastewater asset protection," said Carboline Executive Vice President of North American Sales Darrin Andrews. "Now, both Carboline and Prime can play to their strengths under a leader who understands each business very well. Without a doubt, it's the customer who will benefit."

Former Prime Resins President Michael Vargo has assumed a business development role. A company veteran of over 33 years, Vargo's deep experience and vast professional networks will be instrumental to Prime's continued growth.

Carboline is a global manufacturer of high-performance coatings, linings, and fireproofing products based in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.
