Shenandoah acquires Nu-Pipe, expanding trenchless expertise across Southeast U.S.
Shenandoah, a leading provider of underground infrastructure services and a portfolio company of GenNx360 Capital Partners, has acquired Nu-Pipe LLC, strengthening its trenchless pipe rehabilitation capabilities across the Southeast. The deal marks Shenandoah’s second acquisition since GenNx360 purchased the platform in September 2024.
Headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, Shenandoah provides sanitary and stormwater pipe cleaning, inspection, and rehabilitation services for public and private customers across Florida, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. With the addition of Nu-Pipe, the company is broadening its reach into North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida, reinforcing its position as a key player in underground infrastructure solutions nationwide.
Nu-Pipe specializes in trenchless technologies, including spin casting (SAPL), cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), and injection grouting. These methods strengthen aging infrastructure while minimizing disruption and offering cost-effective alternatives to traditional dig-and-replace approaches. Shenandoah CEO Anthony Guglielmi highlighted Nu-Pipe’s SAPL expertise as a major expansion of the company’s service offerings.
As part of the acquisition, Nu-Pipe Founder and CEO Ashby Johnson will join Shenandoah as President of Solution Technologies, overseeing the company’s CIPP, SAPL, Grout, and Specialty divisions across the U.S. Johnson said the partnership aligns both companies’ cultures and enhances their ability to serve customers with innovative rehabilitation solutions.
GenNx360 leadership emphasized that the acquisition significantly scales Shenandoah’s platform and advances its long-term growth strategy. “We are excited to partner with Ashby and Nu-Pipe to continue building Shenandoah into a national leader in underground infrastructure services,” said Pratik Rajeevan, Principal at GenNx360.
