Aegion, Trenchless Technology Center to hold CIPP seminar in Washington
(UI) – Aegion and the Trenchless Technology Center (TTC) are holding an informational CIPP seminar on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023, in Redmond, Wash. Titled “Environmental Updates Around CIPP,” the seminar will cover subjects such as UV vs. Standard CIPP, a presentation on styrene, and a roundtable discussion, where attendees are encouraged to bring a CIPP-related topic to discuss. Presenters include Insituform Senior Technical Leader Chantal Evans, TTC’s Dr. John Matthews and Dr. John Kraft, and Aegion’s Dr. Amber Wagner, P.E.
The 5-hour agenda is as follows:
8 am: Check-in and continental breakfast
9 am-10 am: UV vs Standard CIPP, Comparison, Myths, and Facts
10 am-11 am: What is Styrene? How to handle it and what is safe!
11 am-12 pm: Environmental Mitigation Techniques and Developments in CIPP
12 pm-1pm: Lunch Provided
1 pm-2 pm: Roundtable Discussion—Bring a topic
Spots are limited on a first come, first serve basis. The seminar is located at the Redmond Mariott, with free parking available nearby at Redmond Town Center.
