Century Products Falcon FR Receives U.S. Patent
Engineered specifically for contractors who need flexibility, the new, patented, Falcon FR Series is a simple, yet incredibly strong hole opener that allows drillers to interchange Arm & Cone Assemblies right in the field – with no welding required. One body can be used for multiple cutting profiles to handle any formations encountered underground.
Ideal for 50- to 200-class rigs, FR Series use larger cutter segments – 12½ or 17 inches – for longer downhole time and improved bottom-line performance. This lighter weight hole opener boasts a solid body welded to a shaft for superior strength, along with the field-replaceable assemblies, to keep drillers drilling.
The solid-body design virtually eliminates cutter flex, maximizing the energy directed to fracturing rock. Able to withstand the high rotational torque and pull forces needed to fracture harder rock, Falconer FR is a smooth-running hole opener with high penetration rates.
