Envirosight Acquires MyTana Manufacturing
Envirosight, which provides video pipeline inspection solutions to municipalities, contractors, departments of transportation, civil/environmental engineers and industrial customers, has acquired MyTana Manufacturing in an all-cash transaction. MyTana, headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, is a major manufacturer and distributor of cleaning, maintenance and inspection tools for the plumbing and drain cleaning markets.
“MyTana had several suitors, but Envirosight was the clear choice for us,” says Jock Donaldson, President of MyTana. “They’re a company that started with a simple vision and succeeded through hard work, attention to detail, and a commitment to delighting customers. They also understand that relentless growth is key to capturing the market—size simply gives you the resources to accomplish greater things.”
MyTana joins Pipeline Renewal Technologies, a supplier of sewer rehab technologies to municipal contractors, in the growing family of Envirosight companies. Although Donaldson will be retiring as president by the end of 2017, MyTana General Manager Dale Graber will stay on with the company and join the Envirosight management team.
