ADS Opens New Manufacturing Plant in Missouri
Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. hosted a grand opening event for its new Harrisonville, Missouri manufacturing plant on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. Located approximately 40 miles south of Kansas City in Harrisonville, Missouri, the 35-acre facility has approximately 50 employees and produces a wide range of ADS products, including ADS N-12® high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe and the company’s line of HP polypropylene pipe.
The grand opening event featured numerous guest speakers, including Senator Ed Emery – District 31 state senator; Adam Timmerman – U.S. Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler’s District Representative; Harrisonville Mayor Brian Hasek; Obie Carl – Executive Director of the Harrisonville Chamber of Commerce; Eric Hughes – Strickland Construction.
“This new plant allows us to meet the growing demand for all of our products in the region, while helping reduce the cost and time of delivery to our customers,” said Joe Chlapaty, Chairman and CEO, ADS. “Harrisonville provided an ideal site through land availability, close access to rail and interstate connections, and a community with the right work force skills.”
The full portfolio of ADS products is available at the location, including ADS N-12® HDPE pipe, HP Storm and SaniTite® polypropylene pipe, StormTech Chambers, INSERTA TEE® and other fittings, Nyloplast® Drain Structures, and geosynthetic fabrics and grids.
