Warren Environmental relocates to Georgia, other rehab news

Warren Environmental and Coatings LLC, a leading manufacturer of proprietary epoxy products and patented application technologies for water and wastewater infrastructure throughout the U.S., is relocating from Massachusetts to Georgia.

The new 15,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Gainesville, Ga, offers numerous advantages for the company. The decision to relocate was driven by several factors, including improved logistical capabilities and enhanced operational efficiency. It will also facilitate faster shipments of products, enabling Warren Environmental to better serve its expanding Approved Applicator Network.

In addition, the new facility will provide operational efficiencies regarding optimized layout and design, up-to-date infrastructure, and additional space to accommodate the increased production and storage needs.

As Warren Environmental relocates its manufacturing facility, it remains committed to providing the same high-quality epoxy coating system and excellent service that its applicators have come to expect. The company assures all existing and prospective applicators, as well as their customers, that this relocation will have little to no impact on their current operations. The relocation process has been thoroughly planned to ensure a seamless transition without disrupting operations.

“This relocation represents a significant milestone in our company’s growth,” said Brian Brandstetter, president of Warren Environmental. “Our new location in Georgia aligns with our long-term goals and enables us to provide our applicators and their clients with quality and readily available epoxy products.”

PLIDCO launches line of hydrogen-compatible fittings

The Pipe Line Development Company (PLIDCO), has announced the introduction of a new range of products for use with hydrogen pipelines in response to the emerging transition toward hydrogen and other alternative energy sources.

Designed for onshore and subsea high-pressure emergency pipeline repairs and routine pipeline maintenance applications, PLIDCO’s products are ideal for hydrogen, oil, gas, water, chemical, steam, slurry and other piping systems. Its high-pressure fittings are designed and manufactured to meet the highest quality standards, following ASME/ANSI codes and adhering to a strict quality control program.

Avanti’s AV-100 grout certified as drinking water system components

The Water Quality Association (WQA) has granted certification to Avanti International’s AV-100 Chemical Grout, both in liquid and granular form, ensuring the products are safe to use near drinking water sources, in compliance with NSF/ANSI/CAN 61.

Avanti’s injection grout products are designed to stop leaks, stabilize soil, and control groundwater in municipal, industrial, and geotechnical applications around the world.

“AV-100 Chemical Grout has earned the potable water certification through rigorous tests by WQA per the NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 standard,” said Roger Borremans, technical director.

AV-100 is a chemically reactive grout designed to stabilize soil and prevent water infiltration into various underground structures by creating a durable, long-lasting water barrier on the exterior of the structure. Cured AV-100 provides excellent soil stabilization and prevents water from infiltrating the structure.

Product details include:

  • Controllable reaction times are seconds to hours
  • Half-life of 362 years for 20-percent grout concentration (determined by U.S. Dept. of Energy)
  • No suspended solids
  • Higher strength compared to acrylates; greater longevity compared to silicates
  • Third-party relative humidity testing against shrinkage/dehydration
  • Available as third-party NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 Standards for Drinking Water System Components certified
  • Available in granular or liquid form

“Avanti started with only one product in 1978 – AV-100 Chemical Grout – which was primarily used to stop water leaks in municipal sewer lines,” said Britt Babcock, president. “Over the years, Avanti has expanded its product line to meet the needs of different industries and applications. However, AV-100 continues to play a vital role in not only municipal applications, but also industrial and geotechnical settings.

“AV-100 (acrylamide) has been used safely and successfully around the globe for over 50 years, which is a testament to its reliability and effectiveness. Avanti’s commitment to obtaining the NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 certification for AV-100 Chemical Grout designation further highlights its suitability for use in multiple applications.”

Since its founding in 1978, Avanti has demonstrated its commitment to innovation by conducting ongoing research and development to refine and expand its range of injection grouting solutions, all designed to cater to the unique needs of the industries it serves.
