Felling Trailers Acquires Larson Cable Trailers

Felling Trailers Inc., based in Sauk Centre, Minn., acquired the assets of Larson Cable Trailers Inc., a Huron, S.Dak., leader in fiber-optic cable handling trailer products.

Founded in 2000, Larson provides solutions for the power and fiber optic industries, serving public/private contractors, rural telephone/electric co-ops, and city municipalities. Three models are built to user specifications with advanced designs to offer an efficient, safe, and easy-to-use cable trailer.

The company will continue operating as Larson Cable Trailers in Huron, as a separate division of Felling Trailers. Original owner/founder Rick Larson was named product manager and all employees were retained, with plans to add more positions to meet the growing demands of the Larson product line.

Felling Trailers, Inc. is a leading full-line manufacturer of industrial and commercial trailers with over 240 models. The Minnesota company operates manufacturing facilities in Sauk Centre (corporate headquarters) and Litchfield, distributing its product lines through a network of dealers located throughout North America.

“We are extremely excited about the addition of Larson Cable Trailers,” said Brenda Jennissen, CEO/president of Felling Trailers. "Rick (Larson) and his team are experts in the field of fiber-optic handling/installation, and their products are truly world-class, making this a quintessential addition to Felling Trailers."

Hitachi

Hitachi Construction & Mining Division, an operating division of John Deere Construction & Forestry Company, introduced a financing offer on select ZX models.

The goal of “ZX-tra Offer” is to provide customers with extra savings, while gaining the efficiency, reliability and durability that a Hitachi excavator offers. Running now until Oct. 31, 2021,
it features low monthly payments, leading customers on a path toward equipment ownership and growing their fleets.

Eligible excavator models are ZX26U-5, ZX75US-5 and ZX85USB-5. The ZX26U-5 is eligible with a canopy or cab option; ZX75US-5 and ZX85USB-5 are cab-only machines. All three models feature a fuel-efficient Yanmar engine that meets EPA Final Tier 4 (FT4)/EU Stage IV emission standards, while being easy to maintain.

John Deere

To better support customers through improved aftermarket and support capabilities, John Deere has extended its service program to select construction equipment.

Under the John Deere Protect Service Plan, required maintenance is performed at every 500-hour interval by an experienced dealer service technician. As a result, customers can decrease their risk and long-term ownership costs, positively impacting their bottom lines.

“The John Deere Protect program adds a layer of certainty and predictability with machine costs and downtime, giving owners the room to focus on other aspects of their business,” said Mark Wagner, manager, Service Business, John Deere Construction and Forestry Division.

Super Products

Super Products, a leading manufacturer of vacuum trucks, has moved its online presence to a new address: www.superproducts.com. While there are no major changes to the website’s layout or content, this small change will make it just a little bit easier for partners and customers to find the company online.

The new domain also means that company email addresses are changing to the format: @superproducts.com. Incoming emails sent to the old address still work but will be phased out. To prepare for that, update any Super Products contacts, as well as any links to the old website.
