Hyundai
Michael J. Ross is the new vice president of Construction Equipment Sales at Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas, Inc., responsible for managing all aspects of dealer sales with internal and field staff. A West Point graduate, Ross has 23 years of industry experience that spans retail sales, regional sales management, national account administration and product support.
Madewell
Natalie Steele, who has led Research & Development, and Marketing, at Madewell Products Corporation for the past seven years, was promoted to vice president of Operations. She joined Madewell following her graduation from the Terry School of Business at the University of Georgia.
Craig Closser, who has championed business development at Madewell for the last four years, is now vice president of that function. Better known as “Coach,” he has devoted over 20 years to the trenchless industry in capacities of supervisor, estimating manager and project manager.
Cretex Specialty Products
Lucas Robinson has been named regional sales manager at Cretex Specialty Products, provider of mechanical internal and external manhole frame-chimney seals and related rehabilitation products. Overseeing sales and marketing disciplines, he is focused on expanding the company’s product specifications and use through promotional efforts to engineers and municipalities, support for contractors, and development of the distributor network in the Northeastern U.S.
Barbco
David Barbera, co-owner and general manager of Barbco Incorporated, was inducted to the National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA) Board of Directors as director-at-large. NUCA’s nationwide network of state/regional chapters and member companies represent utility contractors, excavators, suppliers, manufacturers, and other providers in the water, sewer, gas, electric, treatment plant, telecommunications, and excavation industries.
Vacuworx
Vacuworx has added two new sales representatives in the Gulf Coast region. They handle key accounts, uncover new growth opportunities and support authorized Vacuworx distributors, while showcasing seven lines of heavy-duty and compact lifting solutions designed for various industries.
Sebastian Castilla brings 12 years of domestic and global pipeline sales experience, including procurement, sales support and business development roles. Based in Houston, his territory includes the greater metropolitan and surrounding area, Louisiana and Mississippi.
John Young has over 30 years of heavy equipment rental and sales experience, dealing with operators in the oil & gas and pipeline construction fields. Based in Canyon Lake, Texas, his territory encompasses West and Central Texas, the Rio Grande Valley, and Southeast New Mexico.
GF Piping Systems
Edwin Gonzalez was named piping systems specialist for the U.S. Southeast region of GF Piping Systems. He has more than 35 years of experience in plumbing system design, project management, and construction, and attained his Certification in Plumbing Design from the American Society of Plumbing Engineers. He is a former president and current board member of the Central Florida ASPE Chapter.
Anue Water Systems
Bob Negley is the new sales manager at Anue Water Technologies, manufacturer and supplier of high-efficiency, patented systems for the municipal and industrial wastewater markets. He is responsible for commercial affairs, working with channel partners to place the company’s innovative line of oxygen and ozone equipment, and new green chemical technologies. With 34 years of water treatment industry experience, he has both equipment and chemical expertise.
Hobas Pipe USA
Keithe Merl, P.E., joined the HOBAS Pipe sales team, with responsibility for the Northeast U.S. region, including N.Y., N.J., Penn., Mass., Con., Vt., N.H., Me. and R.I. He has more than 20 years of experience serving clients in the private, public and municipal sectors in the region. Merl replaces John Mele, who was promoted to the newly created position of national business development manager for HOBAS Pipe USA.
Thompson Pipe
Larry Sterritt is the new vice president of sales at Thompson Pipe Group-Pressure, overseeing business development for all concrete and fiberglass pressure pipe in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. He has more than 30 years of leadership experience in Fortune 500 companies and a track record of increasing revenue as a result of sales strategy. He earned a Bachelor’s in petroleum engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
ACPA
Michael Kremer joined the American Concrete Pipe Association (ACPA). In the newly created position, vice president-marketing, he is focused on advancing
the association’s efforts to meet the United States’ critical need for resilient and sustainable infrastructure.
With a strong marketing and management background, in the North American building and construction industry, Kremer will lead development and implementation of marketing strategy, messaging and materials that support ACPA’s strategic mission and industry objectives.
His knowledge and experience give him extensive insight into the reinforced concrete pipe and box culvert industry and markets it serves, especially the transportation and infrastructure. His involvement with numerous associations, programs and committees also aligns well with the ACPA’s members and initiatives. •
