Akktoberfest to Honor Akkerman’s 45th Anniversary
Marking 45 years of guided boring, microtunneling, pipe jacking and tunneling equipment and solutions for installing a variety of underground infrastructure, Akkerman is hosting Akktoberfest, Sept. 18-20, at its Brownsdale, Minn, headquarters.
In the tradition of Oktoberfest, the largest folk festival in the world, which concludes in October but mostly takes place in September, the three-day Akktoberfest will be informative and fun.
Educational sessions on the first two days (Sept. 18-19) will feature in-depth, factory-certified, hands-on equipment training for GBM, MTBM and TBM systems operation and maintenance tracks. In addition, a Trenchless Technical Seminar will cover the latest trends, technologies and issues. Presented by industry experts from NCPI, McMillen Jacobs Associates, TT Technologies, Hobas Pipe and others, as well as Akkerman staff, these sessions will allow attendees to receive Continuing Education Units/Professional Development Hours.
The final day (Sept. 20) will offer equipment displays, factory tours, networking opportunities, food and entertainment in celebration of the 45th anniversary.
All Akktoberfest events are complimentary to guests who register online at: akkerman.com/register. Complete and submit a registration for each guest, selecting the education sessions that work best for the person’s position and availability. Please note that space is limited in the educational sessions and a maximum of five people from the same company may attend each session.
