Felling Revamps Pan, I Series Trailers
In continuing efforts to offer more value to its customers, Felling Trailers Inc. has announced enhancements to two product lines.
Several features are now standard on the Pan Series, known for offering one of the lowest load angles for a ramp trailer in the industry: increased ramp width (from 14 to 16 inches), dual tail lights and EZ Lube Hubs.
An advanced design for the I Series also incorporates additional standard features; and increases structural strength, facilitates operator use and streamlines production. New specifications include:
- A simplified hitch plate area reduces the number of welds needed in production, and adds integrity and strength to final construction.
- The tailboard now includes a four-light LED system, which is ideally placed to prevent damage when loading/unloading equipment, and designed to offer a level transition onto rear deck boards when loading and extend the deck life.
- Two inches were added to the ramp width, providing an 18” center gap between ramps.
- The tongue area maintains space and capacity to accommodate a range of toolbox sizes.
Felling Trailers, a family owned and operated company in Sauk Centre, MN, manufactures over 4,500 trailers a year − ranging from a 3,000-pound utility trailer to a 120,000-pound hydraulic gooseneck trailer − and including a 220-model standard line, as well as a customized trailer division.
