John Deere Changes the Product Testing Game
John Deere Construction & Forestry has introduced an interactive game for customers and fans. The “Small Machine vs. Big Jobs Challenge” is an innovative take on consumer involvement, allowing customers to familiarize themselves with machinery in a fresh way.
John Deere’s new G-Series Skid Steers and Compact Track Loader are the stars of the “Small Machine vs. Big Jobs Challenge” game; players select one of the four skid steers, or the compact track loader for competitions in construction, landscaping and livestock applications. The 10 game levels available for advancement require players to swipe the machines into a target, registering a mph score based on that swipe speed. Players are featured on a real-time leaderboard, and are able to share their scores on Facebook and/or Twitter.
“We’re excited to launch our new small-frame G-Series models to the market and wanted to invite customers and fans to get to know these machines in a different way,” said Graham Hinch, division manager for John Deere Commercial Worksite Products.
