Two workers hospitalized after trench collapse in Anderson, S.C.
Two construction workers were rescued and rushed to the hospital after a trench collapsed on them in Anderson County, South Carolina. Fire officials responded to an emergency rescue call at the site on Tuesday, FOX Carolina News reported.
Anderson City Fire Department said the incident occurred shortly after 2:15 p.m. When the rescue team arrived, one worker had been pulled out of the trench by a coworker after the two workers initially were stuck.
Two workers were reportedly stuck in a trench. Anderson Fire Chief Travis Poore is investigating what caused part of it to collapse.
