The project, which began in spring 2022, has faced significant delays but now has a tentative substantial completion date of April 2025.

The main objective is to install a large gravity sewer line along Red Bank Road, between Sunrise Boulevard and Henry E. Brown Jr. Boulevard. Recent progress includes the removal of the old curb line and milling and grading of the road in preparation for resurfacing.

To address delays, the County has brought in new contractors—Palmetto Site Works and Sanders Brothers Construction. All curbing and milling work is expected to be completed by late February, with resurfacing set to begin soon after. The resurfacing work will mark the final phase of the project.

The total project cost is approximately $13 million.
