MIDLAND, Texas (UI) — Several roads in Midland are currently closed as the city progresses with key utility projects.
As of this week, Colorado Street between Texas Avenue and Wall Street has been closed for Atmos Energy's utility upgrades. This section is scheduled to reopen by Oct. 4.
North County Road 1160 is also closed from East County Road 90 to the Highway 80 frontage road to facilitate sewer line installations. This closure is expected to remain in place until Dec. 23.
Additionally, the ongoing closure on Garfield Street has now extended south to Louisiana Avenue for continued utility installations.
The City of Midland will release further updates as these projects advance.
