Voyager acquires pipeline coating service provider Aegion Coating Services

(UI) – Voyager Interests announced its acquisition of Aegion Coating Services (ACS) from Aegion Corporation. Founded in 1979, ACS is the global leader in field joint coating services using proprietary robotic tools that apply protective coatings to internal and external segments of natural gas, crude oil, potable water and saltwater pipelines.

Voyager Interests, based in Houston, Texas, is a specialized private equity firm that invests in energy services and equipment (“ES&E”) companies across the world. Voyager is the most active private equity firm in the sector, with six acquisitions consummated since 2021.

Aegion combines innovative technologies with market-leading expertise to maintain, rehabilitate and strengthen infrastructure around the world. Since 1971, the company has played a pioneering role in rehabilitation solutions for aging infrastructure, primarily pipelines in the wastewater and potable water industries.
