Fort Lauderdale, Lanzo Construction begin work on major sewer upgrades

The City of Fort Lauderdale and Lanzo Construction Company are working to upgrade approximately 23,370 feet of large sanitary sewer pipelines along NE/SE 9th and 10th avenues, from Sunrise Boulevard to the George T. Lohmeyer Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The project scope includes rehabilitation of over 13,000 feet of existing sewer pipelines, installation of over 10,000 feet of new pipelines, restoration of existing sewer connections, and any necessary road resurfacing.
Construction is expected to be completed by August 2026.
