USIC names Trent Bowers as new chief commercial officer
(UI) — USIC, the leader in underground infrastructure damage prevention, has announced the appointment of Trent Bowers as chief commercial officer (CCO). Trent will lead the company’s sales organization and the advancement of its commercial strategy, services, and partnerships. USIC serves more than 1,400 utilities and municipalities throughout 48 states.
Trent brings 30 years of global sales, marketing, customer success management, and commercial experience to USIC, most recently serving as executive vice president of sales and Marketing for Clean Harbors, a provider of premier environmental and industrial services.
Prior leadership roles include chief commercial officer and executive vice president of sales for Generac Grid Services, a provider of distributed energy resource management solutions, and Vice President of Industry Solutions Sales for Landis+GYR, a multinational corporation providing innovative Smart Grid and Smart City solutions. Trent earned a BBA degree in marketing from James Madison University.
“Trent is a seasoned commercial leader with a proven record of success in designing and leading best-in-industry sales organizations; developing market expansion opportunities; and achieving sustainable growth through business model and digital transformations, technological innovation, and value chain enhancements,” USIC President and CEO Mike Ryan said. “He will leverage his experience in the utilities, telecommunications, and energy sectors to develop and execute new go-to-market and service delivery strategies which will create significant value for our customers and the company.”
