UESI to present two new awards at annual Pipelines Conference
(UI) – The Utility Engineering and Surveying Institute (UESI) will present two new awards to gain more recognition for the work of UESI members at this year’s Pipelines Conference. These include Project of the Year and Young Member of the Year.

Project of the year
The award for UESI Project of the Year will allow the Institute to recognize significant achievements made by our members in the utilities and pipelines industries each year. The selection criteria for Project of the Year will include:
- Technical advancement of innovation in engineering or construction
- New milestone or record
- Project complexity
- Project delivery
- Benefits to the community and society
Younger member of the year
The award for Young Member of the Year recognizes the most outstanding younger member of UESI. The purpose of this award is to promote excellence within UESI by recognizing the contributions of a younger member. Eligible professionals must be 35 years or younger.
