PCCA Reschedules the Association’s 2022 Annual Convention
The Power & Communication Contractors Association released a letter to members to announce the rescheduling of the 2022 Annual Convention.
The change was prompted by a notice that the Association received from the Turtle Bay Resort in Hawaii. The venue canceled because of a supply chain issue to complete renovations on the resort’s HVAC system in the resort ballroom wing.
The new location will be at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass in Phoenix, AZ. The dates have also changed to Feb. 25 to March 2, 2022.
“We are excited about our new location for several reasons. First, holding the convention in Arizona will all but remove any Covid-related travel restrictions and concerns about holding our meeting,” said Tim Wagner, president and CEO in the letter. “Second, the Sheraton Grand Wild Horse is a AAA Four Diamond resort that is home to a Forbes Five Star Aji Spa with private pool and cafe, Whirlwind Golf Club with two 18-hole Troon-managed golf courses, and Kai, the only AAA Five-Diamond and Forbes Five Star Award restaurant in Arizona. There's something for every member of the family at the Sheraton Grand Resort at Wild Horse Pass.”
Wagner says that the association is working to reschedule with Turtle Bay for March of 2024.
“We are sorry for any inconvenience that this change will cause you, but we are confident that our 2022 Annual Convention will be a huge success at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass,” said Wagner.
