Pro Pipe Partners with Perma-Liner Industries to Expand Lateral Lining Services
Professional Pipe Services, Inc. (Pro Pipe) today announced a partnership with Perma-Liner Industries (Perma-Liner) to provide main/lateral connection lining services nationwide.
As municipalities seek to reduce the impact of inflow and infiltration (I&I) on the broader wastewater collection system, service laterals, particularly around the mainline connection, have received greater attention. Only through holistic assessment and rehabilitation, which must include laterals, can I&I be minimized. Historically, many municipalities have had limited access to technologies that sealed laterals from the mainline to the property line or foundation, which is necessary to effectively reduce I&I. Fortunately, technology advancements now provide the ability to perform lateral lining directly from the mainline sewer, enabling municipalities to take greater control of the entire rehabilitation process.
“We are proud to partner with Pro Pipe,” said Rob Larsen, Director of Sales for Perma-Liner. “Our goal was to identify a national leader in sewer assessment and rehabilitation that we believed would take our InnerSeal™ technology to new heights. We found that partner in Pro Pipe, and Perma-Liner is readily anticipating the launch and support of Pro Pipe installations with cities and municipalities across the country”.
InnerSeal by Perma-Liner is a trenchless cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) technology that is used in collection systems throughout North America to repair the connection from the mainline while simultaneously renewing the lateral. InnerSeal is a one-piece, structural, new continuous liner that incorporates 100% solids epoxy that is environmentally friendly with adhesive properties and hydrophilic rubber O-rings embedded between the host pipe and the liner to provide a permanent and verifiable non-leaking connection. With more than 50,000 successful installations, the technology has proven to be an effective, non-disruptive and long-lasting lateral rehabilitation solution.
“We have been providing lateral lining CIPP and mainline CIPP for over 20 years, including sectional spot repairs and brim connection liners, so it is only natural that we expand our capabilities to provide the full suite of trenchless rehabilitation services to our customers,” said Dean Monk, Director of Operations for Pro Pipe. “We evaluated a number of full wrap connection lining technologies and were impressed with Perma-Liner’s long track record and industry leadership. We are excited to announce this partnership, which allows us to become a licensed installer for the InnerSeal system.”
