Houston Wire & Cable Company Elects Haley to Board of Directors

Houston Wire & Cable Company has elected Roy Haley to its Board of Directors. Haley will also serve as a member of the Audit and Compensation Committees.
Haley currently serves as a director of Essendant Inc. (formerly United Stationers, Inc.), where he serves as the chair of the Audit Committee. Previously, he served as a director and Non-Executive Chairman of the Board with BlueLinx Holdings Inc.
From 1998 to 2011, Haley served as the Chairman of the Board of WESCO International, Inc. (WESCO) from 1998 until and as Chief Executive Officer from 1994 to 2009. From 1988 to 1993, Haley served as Chief Operating Officer, President and a director of American General Corporation.
“Roy’s extensive experience in industry and electrical distribution make him a great addition to our Board,” said James Pokluda, President & CEO of Houston Wire & Cable Company.
