ePIPE® Technology Awarded 17th U.S. Patent
Pipe Restoration Technologies, LLC, makers of the ePIPE®, Lead-Free Leak-Free, LeadSmart™ product lines, has been granted its 17th U.S. patent, #9555453, related to its ePIPE System of “in-place” pipe restoration against leaks, harmful lead leaching and lead service lines.
“ePIPE is providing superior solutions in response to real time issues like lead pipes, leaky pipes, the leaching of excessive amounts of copper & lead from plumbing systems into drinking water,” Pipe Restoration Technologies CEO Larry Gillanders said. “ePIPE applicators save money and time with ePIPE’s fast installation. Customers enjoy the benefits of minimal down time, with many properties being restored in less than a day, using our plumbing innovations.”
Pipes from as small as 1/2” in diameter can be protected in-place using the patented ePIPE system and materials. Drinking water pipes, natural gas lines, HVAC, drains and fire sprinkler systems can also be treated.
ePIPE is approved by the National Sanitation Foundation for an immediate return to service in as little as 90 minutes.
