Copperhead’s Complete Utility Locating System makes detecting underground utilities more accurate and efficient.
Customizable, the system offers engineers, municipalities and utilities end-to-end reliability and pinpoint precision through the following components:
- Copperhead reinforced copper-clad steel tracer wire is designed to locate buried plastic pipes and their optic lines for open cut, directional drill and pipe bursting, with a protective high-density polyethylene (HDPE) jacket.
- In just two, simple steps, Copperhead’s locking SnakeBit corrosion-proof connectors reduce installation time and lower overall labor costs.
- An encapsulated magnet makes floating SnakePit access points easy, and a direct-connect lug provides a direct access point to place a tone on the target line.
- The Copperhead ground rod pulls the transmit signal to all services, completing the locating signal.
