Interplastic's CoREZYN resin approved for potable water pipe

Interplastic Corporation’s new CoREZYN resin is now approved for use in potable water pipe and tanks. Part of the company’s CORVE8300DW corrosion-resistant product series, CoREZYN is a vinyl-ester based, NSF/ANSI 61 certified resin for use in desalination piping and equipment, public drinking water systems, and storage tanks containing chemicals such as sodium hypochlorite (bleach), acids and bases.

CORVE8300DW has the industry’s highest approval for use in piping greater than or equal to ½-inch inner diameter, and tanks greater than or equal to 150 gallons. It is manufactured from ingredients listed as acceptable in FDA Code of Regulation Title 21, CFR 177.2420 and may be safely used as a component of articles intended for single or repeated use in contact with food, as prescribed in the regulation.
