AllClean Water Recycling Aims To Improve Conservation, Productivity
Gradall Industries, the manufacturer of Vacall vacuum and jetting products, introduced an AllClean water recycling system for use on Vacall’s AllJetVac combination sewer cleaners. The innovative system was designed with water conservation in mind, as well as to allow operators to work for longer periods of time without the interruption of refilling the water tanks.
The AllClean system uses a series of filters, screens and centrifugal motions to eliminate substances of varying sizes from water collected in the debris tank prior to returning it to the water tanks.
This new system is especially resourceful and time efficient for municipalities and contractors with crews performing both emergency and routine cleaning work, said Bill Petrole, vice president of Vacall products for Gradall Industries.
The recycling and filtration of water results in virtually no maintenance downtime because the AllClean system is self-cleaning and requires no back flushing or filter changes.
Additionally, water savings can amount to millions of gallons in a short period of time, added Petrole.
Recycling with AllClean is a multi-stage process that begins with an initial sediment separation followed by a floating V-Filtration screening process to further separate water from debris. The V-Filtration also features a back-flush, self-cleaning capability.
Following the V-Filtration process, centrifugal high-speed action removes remaining solids, including particles down to 100 microns. Solid and fine particles are returned to the debris tank by a pressure-regulating valve system, and then recouped jetted water is returned to the water tanks for reuse. The system also features a segregated clean water wash down with a 240-gallon capacity.
