UCTA Vendor Expo

The theme of the Underground Construction Technology Association (UCTA) South Texas Chapter luncheon on Oct. 9 was Innovative Technology. Thirteen vendors presented information to an audience of over 80 owners, contractors and consultants with information on modern technologies including composite manhole covers, GIS spatial display, geopolymer lining systems and centrifugally cast, fiberglass-reinforced, polymer mortar pipe (CCFRPM).

The audience heard select technology presentations, then had the opportunity to visit various table top exhibits. There were plenty of questions and vendors came early and stayed late to provide information.

Positive Feedback for UCTA Vendor Expo

The theme of the Underground Construction Technology Association South Texas Chapter luncheon on Oct. 9 was Innovative Technology.Due to overwhelmingly positive feedback from presenters and audience alike, UCTA South Texas organizers have already committed to a Second Annual Innovative Technology Transfer in October 2016.

Everyone was very excited and appreciative of the effort that was put forth to make this happen and stated they hoped we would make this an annual event. This is what UCTA is all about: sharing knowledge with people in the industry.”
