Learn Then Lead with UCT educational program
Our industry is filled with talented professionals who share a passion that drives the industry forward. Take the opportunity to network with these professionals at the Underground Construction Technology International Conference & Exhibition (UCT) in Atlanta, Feb. 1-4, 2016. Known for its business-style atmosphere, UCT consists of three major components: Specialty training programs that begin on Monday, Feb.1, the main UCT educational program that begins the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 3 and the exhibits which open Wednesday afternoon.
CUIRE’s Engineering and Inspector Training and Certification Schools will be held at the Westin Peachtree Plaza hotel, Feb. 1 and 2. Each school qualifies for CEUs and PDHs through the University of Texas at Arlington. The Structural Rehabilitation Design for Sewer & Water Pipes course is back by popular demand. This one-day course will be on Tuesday, Feb. 2. PACP Trainers and users will want to attend NASSCO’s PACP Trainer Course on Feb. 2, while field construction professionals may want the comprehensive training that’s only available at NASSCO’s Inspector Training & Certification Program for Cured-In-Place Pipe on Monday, Feb.1 and Tuesday, Feb. 2. Complete details on the program can be found on the following pages or under the education tab at www.uctonline.com.
A lot is happening in the UCT exhibit hall as well. You will see and learn about trenchless and open-cut techniques used in new underground utility pipe construction and pipe rehabilitation. Begin your exhibit hall experience with a tour of the RehabZone®. This museum-quality, historical display of the sewer pipe infrastructure will feature on-going presentations and demonstrations. Moreover, YOU can test drive the technology. Exhibiting companies will showcase equipment and services ranging from augers, to CCTV inspection systems, to directional drilling rigs and services, to liners and pumps and more. Another fun opportunity in the exhibit hall is the opening day Meet and Greet cash bar reception. The popular UCT Networking Reception, co-sponsored by TT Technologies will be in the exhibit hall on Thursday. Everyone will receive a drink ticket, courtesy of TT Technologies at registration during badge pick-up.
