Doosan
The new 271-hp Doosan DL300-5 provides improvements in fuel efficiency, operator comfort, serviceability, reliability and remote monitoring with the Doosan Telematics system. This model replaces the previous interim Tier 4 (iT4) model (DL300-3) and is powered by a Scania diesel engine. Increased visibility and cab enhancements, including an improved adjustable steering column for ease of operation and floor space, and a new fuel consumption gauge are available with the DL300-5. doosanequipment.com
New Holland
New Holland compact wheel loaders provide a combination of increased versatility, increased comfort and control so you get the job done more quickly and efficiently. SMART precise load control and speed control improves operating efficiency. And these wheel loaders do much more than load. With big engine and hydraulic power and a choice of buckets and attachments, you can scrape, grade, haul and more. The new boom and universal link design of New Holland compact wheel loaders provides many benefits including compatibility with dozens of attachments. The narrow loader arm design features one lift cylinder and one bucket cylinder. The narrow design improves all-around visibility and provides a clear view to the coupler and attachment for fast, confident attachment changes. construction.newholland.com
CASE
The CASE 821F wheel loader offers faster acceleration, quicker cycle times, and higher travel speeds while delivering as much as 20 percent better fuel economy. The F Series wheel loaders use SCR technology to meet Tier 4 emissions standards while also providing more powerful and responsive engines. With full climate control, an award-winning joystick steering option, and an available two-level control system, CASE provides you with a comfortable and efficient cab. 262.636.6011, casece.com
Volvo Construction Equipment
The new Volvo L150H, L180H and L220H wheel loaders, occupying the 25 to 39 ton weight class, excel in a wide range of jobs. The productivity of the buckets is enhanced by the optional Boom Suspension System, which absorbs shock and reduces spillage when travelling over rough ground, as well as increasing machine life and operator comfort. Even without the BSS, however, the operator still enjoys a pleasant ride due to a comfortable seat and vibration protection inside the spacious ROPS / FOPS certified cab. Internal noise levels are kept to a minimum, while an industry-leading air filter design ensures a clean and unpolluted cab environment. All of the controls and information panels have been ergonomically positioned to limit operator fatigue, while the optional multi-function joystick gives the operator simultaneous and precise control of the hydraulic functions. 825.650.2000, volvo.com
John Deere
The implementation of a John Deere PowerTech EPA Final Tier 4/EU Stage IV engine on the 624K wheel loader delivers impressive torque to help maintain good boom and bucket speed in and out of the pile for heaped loads, even in wet or hard-packed material. The 624K model weighs the same as its Interim Tier 4 predecessors with no increase in machine dimensions. In addition, there is no impact on visibility going from an Interim Tier 4 to Final Tier 4 engine. The wheel loader features an up-front and enhanced multifunction monitor that displays operation, diagnostic and maintenance info on a color LCD screen with easy-on-the-eyes clarity. The 624K model boasts several axle improvements for increased durability in demanding conditions, including standard axle cooling and filtration, along with brake retractors and adjustors on the Teammate V axles. 800.503.3373, deere.com
Hyundai
The new HL780-9A wheel loader is part of Hyundai’s new 9A series product line. The loader is built with an electronically controlled, fuel efficient, 351 hp Cummins QSX11.9 Interim Tier 4/EU Stage IIIB engine. The loader has three engine modes – power mode for heavy duty work, standard mode for general work and economy mode for light duty work. The HL780-9A is also equipped with a fully automatic transmission designed for minimum power loss, improved travel speed and low noise. The HL780-9A loader has an operating weight of 66,800 pounds, a bucket capacity of 7.1 cubic yards and a bucket breakout force of 52,360 pounds. For jobs such as loading high-sided trucks or hoppers where a higher dump height is needed, this machine is available in an extended reach (XTD) model. 877.509.2254, hceamericas.com
Caterpillar
The new 966M, 966M XE, 972M and 972M XE Wheel Loaders have EPA Tier 4 Final ACERT engines equipped with a combination of proven electronic, fuel, air and after-treatment components. XE technology results in 25 percent lower fuel consumption on average compared to machines with traditional torque converters, simplifies operation with a two-pedal design and provides high performance at all speeds. The 972M XE excels at truck loading and is a 3-pass match for many of the larger on-highway trucks used in North America. The 966M and 972M powertrains have also been improved with the addition of lock-up clutch torque converters. These new torque converters have also been matched with the engine power and hydraulics to improve performance and fuel efficiency and are another example of deep system integration. A switch has been added to the electronic service center for unlatching the door remotely. The gas strut then swings the door open all while the operator is safely on the ground. The angle of the steps up to the cab has been increased to an optimal 15 degrees, which enables operators to walk up as if they were using stairs rather than climbing more vertically. Grab handles have been repositioned so a secure three points of contact can be maintained at all times. cat.com/requestCatinfo
