Ernst & Young Name Sauerisen President Entrepreneur Of 2013
Sauereisen, a third-generation manufacturer of corrosion-resistant materials, announced that its president, J. Eric Sauereisen, has been named Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young in the Family Business category in the Western Pennsylvania/West Virginia region.
“I am incredibly honored to receive this award,” said Sauereisen. “However, it really is representative of the hardworking, entrepreneurial spirit of our entire company.”
In order to have been considered, nominations required essays detailing the following topics: About the Nominee, Type of Business and Current Activity, Innovative Approaches and Future Plans, and Company Initiative and Culture. Awardees were chosen by a panel of past winners and other successful business community members who focused on a variety of factors, including the success of the business stewarded by the entrepreneur, employee practices and the businesses impact on the community.
Since receiving the award, Eric Sauereisen has been inducted into the Entrepreneur of the Year Hall of Fame and is now eligible to win national awards. 412.96.0303, sauereisen.com
