SamJack Unveils SIMTAP Drilling Machine
SamJack Products’ new SIMTAP drilling machine, now manufactured and distributed by the Ford Meter Box Company, is ideal for the contractor or utility needing the flexibility to make a fast and easy tap without pulling out the big machines. The SIMTAP drilling machine assembles in seconds and works with most corporation stops.
SIMTAP is powered by a ½-inch pneumatic drill, operating at low rpms, which virtually eliminates the risk of melting PVC and resists overheating during multiple taps. The drilling machine taps ductile iron, PVC pipe and asbestos cement.
The standard SIMTAP kit contains a ½-inch pneumatic drill; carbide tipped cutters; a complete set of adapters; and assembly tools and a carrying case.
A SIMTAP base kit is available in custom configurations. It also can be used with battery operated drill.
