BELL BOSS

Hidden stress cracks from improper assembly techniques frequently result in costly rework to repair and replace underground pipe installations.

Rolled gaskets and splits bells also are common and costly. The BELL BOSS is designed to reduce pipe damage to PVC and ductile iron pipes by ensuring that the assembly force is uniformly distributed across the pie face. Cracks to the bell face are greatly reduced, especially when high force is used to push multiple pipe assemblies through long casings. Rubber impact gaskets insure that the BELL BOSS stays in place even when applying force with a sledge hammer. The BELL BOSS also serves as a temporary overnight protective plug when open trenches are not permitted at the construction site.
