Sharewell HDD Now Stand-Alone Firm
The oilfield services and horizontal directional drilling divisions of Sharewell LP were recently separated into two independent companies. Sharewell HDD LLC will retain its original ownership under Todd Caspary while the oilfield services division is now owned by an investment firm.
For HDD, Sharewell has been a long-standing industry provider of quality steering and downhole tools. Sharewell HDD Vice President Steve Cornwall said that for its customers “it’s business as usual.
“We’re still very tuned-in to customer service. We’ll continue to focus on helping contractors get their projects completed efficiently, effectively and in a timely manner,” Cornwall stressed.
All of the veteran Sharewell HDD team will remain in place. Managing the company will be Greg Wilson, Bill McCrey will remain chief financial officer and Richard Bond is now over operations.
Sharewell HDD is a major industry supplier of steering tools (principally magnetic guidance systems), Low-Torque and split bit hole openers, drill bits and mud motors. “We supply all types of downhole equipment for HDD primarily in the mid-size to large rig range,” Cornwall said.
As part of the transition, Sharewell HDD has relocated its operations to 4333 Spring Stuebner Road, Spring, TX (north Houston area). Their mailing address is P.O. Box 460, Spring, TX, 77383-0460.
