Growth Prompts Midwest Mole Move To New Facility
In mid-April, Midwest Mole Inc., an Indianapolis-based contracting firm specializing in trenchless technology, will moved into a new facility approximately 10 miles east of its old headquarters.
“My father Len and I purchased our current office and shop back in 1990, and it has served us very well for 22 years,” said Dan Liotti, president of Midwest Mole. “Our business has grown to the point where we really needed new space. We nearly doubled our square footage with this move.”
“We started this building from scratch and it almost doubles the size of our old buildings,” Liotti pointed out. “We found this 23-acre site in the Mount Comfort Industrial Park.”
The result was a new almost 26,000 square foot building situated on 13 acres providing ample space for the shop, office and yard. It also features a large training room that will be used for both in-house meetings and safety instructional seminars. “We still have 10 acres in front for future construction,” Liotti observed.
“We now have a 7,000 square foot office building, four maintenance bays, a tunnel machine repair bay – now all connected and out of the weather,” he added.
“This new space will be much more efficient, and we will be poised for continued growth as we celebrate our 30th anniversary in 2012,” said Liotti. “It is because of our hardworking and dedicated employees that we are able to take this big step and invest in the future of our company.”
The address of the new facility is 6814 West 350 N, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. The telephone number will remain the same: 317-545-1335.
