CUES
To remedy potential crossbore risks and to protect/locate buried assets and the surrounding environment, use the CUES LAMP I or II. The self-propelled, robust LAMP I & II are designed to perform pan and tilt inspections of mainline sewer pipes with a simultaneous viewing of the adjacent lateral services. The LAMP utilizes a self-propelled lateral launcher, transportation platform, and two cameras, one for pan/tilt/optical zoom operations (mainline) and one for lateral launching. An integrated wireless controller is available to operate all launcher, platform, camera, and reel operations from the front, rear, or within 50 ft. line of sight. 800.327.7791, cuesinc.com

R.S. Technical Services

Perform inspections in 6- to 24-inch pipelines from a single integrated unit. Locatable via a built-in 512 Hz sonde, the system features a pan and tilt mainline camera and an auto upright lateral camera. A launch camera actuator allows for easy insertion into 90-degree laterals and the dedicated 90-watt motor produces amazing pushing force for lateral inspections up to 100 feet from the mainline. The six-wheel drive tractor features three forward speeds, reverse and freewheel with speeds up to 70 fpm. Also included in the system is a cable reel with 600 feet of cable (100 feet of push cable and 500 feet of 3/16-inch diameter armored Sincon cable) for easy manhole-to-manhole inspections. The 1500 series controller produces high quality video to either a picture-in-picture system or a second video monitor for simultaneous camera views. 800.767.1974, rstechserv.com

Ratech Electronics

Ratech developed the Portable Mini-Mainline for small to medium sized municipalities or contractors looking for an affordable entry level Mainline Video Pipe Inspection System. This portable format means off-road hard to access areas are no longer a problem. Simply unload the system and roll it to the jobsite. Mounted and fixed in a standard cargo van or trailer, it is ideal for difficult access areas such as easements and ravines. The unique design allows the operator to monitor the video picture safely away from the manhole instead of having to work directly in front or near it. Choose between either a Pan ‘N’ Tilt color or Straight View inspection camera, up to 1,000 feet of cable, automatic level cable-wind reel, 10-inch sun-viewable LCD monitor, on-screen distance count, keyboard with text overlay and 8-page memory. Camera remote functions including light head control and crawler controls are built-in. The Mini-Mainline Inspects from 4 to 48 inch pipes depending on crawler selection. Lighting is provided with a Lo-Profile 170 watt exterior light head. SD Digital Card Recorder, DVD Recorder, USB, Hard-Drive are options for recording of inspections. 800.461.9200, ratech-electronics.com

Radiodetection
 width=
At the heart of Radiodetection’s GatorCam4 system is the weatherproof GatorCam4USB controller, which displays color footage in digital quality on an ultra-bright 8-inch TFT screen. USB flash drive and Compact Flash storage options along with PC connectivity provide flexible data storage and comprehensive reporting capabilities. Fully sealed 1- and 2-inch cameras can be mounted on a range of rods: from the ultra-flexible 100-foot Plumbers reel, designed for accessing tight corners, to the 500-foot Specialist reel designed to push for long distances. A range of compatible sondes, skids, brushes and accessories completes the package. The digital controller system architecture provides precise control over inspections and recordings. Digital rotate, pan and zoom functions let you focus in on problem areas during live or recorded inspections. 877.247.3797, radiodetection.com

RedZone Robotics
Solo enables better, more timely decision making by providing the most useful small pipe information fast. Solo inspects pipe without an operator present, and the results are coded offline. Solo includes an on-board power, intelligence and storage. The system can make daily inspections 3 to 5 times that of conventional CCTV technologies. No dedicated truck is required. Powered by ICOM3, Solo comes with a 360-degree pan and tilt zoom viewing, deployment of manhole GPS, a PACP/WRc Report and comprehensive operational statistics. 412.476.8980, redzone.com

Envirosight

The SuperVision SAT lateral launch system crawls 300 feet down mainlines 6-inches and larger, and then inserts its camera as far as 100 feet into laterals 3.5 inches and larger. The auto-leveling color camera with shadowless illumination pans 360 degrees and tilts 90 degrees to view both sidewall detail and distant targets. SuperVision SAT’s steerable six-wheel drive helps it maneuver to troublesome launch points. Auxiliary lamps and a backward-viewing camera enhance visibility in both directions. An integral sonde transmits at multiple frequencies, facilitating locating the camera from above ground. Force-sensing rollers prevent damage to the push rod, ensuring maintenance-free operation. SuperVision SAT is available as a complete system, or as an add-on package that works with an existing SuperVision system. 973.252.6700, envirosight.com

Pearpoint

The new P340 flexiprobe pushrod video inspection system offers USB flash drive connectivity and 1- and 2-inch high-resolution cameras constructed from stainless steel, and capable of withstanding 11 bar of pressure – the equivalent of working 330 feet underwater. A rugged and weatherproofed P340USB flexiprobe controller records high quality digital video or images with a single key press, and displays them on an ultra-bright 8-inch TFT screen. Advanced digital capabilities mean that users can zoom, pan and rotate images during recording and playback to focus in on problem areas. Still pictures can be taken at any time. The P340USB controller automatically organizes jobs by client, site and survey. radiodetection.com/P340

Pipelogix
Exporting your pipeline inspection survey conditions and displaying them on maps with correlated exact footage is easily accomplished with the GIS module from flexidata. The GIS module has the ability to: import asset details from shape files, and personal or enterprise geodatabases; import visual layers, including raster files; fill survey header fields by selecting an asset from displayed maps; automatically highlight surveyed pipes to get a visual of completed surveys in an area; build a pipe flow layer to find the upstream manhole quickly; and select groups of assets to create survey projects. The module provides a handy toolbar to use inside ESRI Arcmap to allow quick viewing of pictures and movie files associated with the survey, including lateral surveys. 866.299.3150, pipelogix.com

Aries Industries

LETS (Lateral Evaluation Television System) is an adaptable, reliable system that allows simultaneous inspection of laterals (up to 150 feet) and mainlines (up to 1,000 feet), with a fast, efficient lateral camera launch. LETS system’s low friction drive mechanism virtually eliminates cable wear, and the automated self-capturing push cable retrieval gets you out of tough situations easily, increasing reliability and product life. To make operation even more trouble-free, the LETS system easily adapts or retrofits to other systems. LETS boasts two push cameras – a self-leveling mini camera or a pan/tilt camera. 800.234.7205, ariesindustries.com

RapidView IBAK

PANORAMO SI provides a complete 360-degree view of the manhole after the inspection, similar to normal PANORAMO pipe segment files. It is available as an add-on to your PANORAMO system or in a stand-alone version. The 3D Optoscanner uses two high-resolution digital cameras with distortion-free wide-angle lenses. These optically scan the entire interior of the manhole in a few seconds in one single vertical run. The operator can view the digitally transmitted image data as if it were a live picture. The condition of the manhole is then assessed back in the office or directly on site. 800.656-IBAK, rapidview.com
