American Augers
Directional Drill 1100 Rapid Setup (DD-1100RS) with optional rod-loader is the latest concept from American Augers. Maxi-Rig Rapid Setup is engineered to solve the issue of positioning large equipment quickly and easily. TT Technologies

Ditch Witch
The JT5 compact horizontal directional drilling is designed specifically for shallow installations of cable, fiber and water systems up to 150 feet in length beneath roads, driveways, sidewalks, sensitive landscaping and other surface obstacles. With only 35.9 inches wide and 120 inches long, the machine can access and work in back yards and other small areas. Key features include dual anchors; 5,000 pounds of pullback; rack-and-pinion thrust drive; patented vise wrenches for centering pipe during make-up; electrically-operated pipe lubrication system; on-board drilling fluid system develops maximum pressure of 750 psi with maximum flow rate of 5 gpm; and operator’s station with stationary seat provides excellent visibility, easy to identify and reach controls, automatic fluid shut-off control and remote tracker display. Specially designed drill pipe joints are 59 inches long and have a bend radius of up to 70 feet, enabling pilot bores to be leveled at shallow depths. Vermeer
The D36x50 Series II NAVIGATOR HDD offers 10 foot and 15 foot rack options. With the highest power-to-size ratio in its class and a rack and pinion design, the D36x50 Series II is built to perform a wide range of medium-diameter, mid-to-long-distance utility installations. Powered by a John Deere diesel 4045 Tier II turbocharged engine, the D36x50 Series II provides 5000 foot-pounds of torque to turn cutting tools in difficult ground conditions and with larger backreamers. The high torque, combined with a 50 gpm variable flow onboard mud pump and 36,000 pounds of pullback force, provides the capability of performing a wide range of bores. Astec Underground
The Astec EarthPro Series DD3238 provides 32,000 pounds of thrust/pullback force with the capability of up to 3,800 foot-pounds of rotary torque. The maximum rotary speed can reach up to 225 rpm. The drill weighs 20,000 pounds and is 247 inches long by 89 inches wide. The DD3238 is powered by a 125-hp John Deere turbocharged diesel engine. It also has an onboard FMC mud pump that can pump up to 47 gpm at up to 1,500 psi. The floating carriage is capable of two speeds, including a 120 ft/min fast mode for adding and removing rods. The DD3238 uses 10-foot drill stem and can carry up to 500 feet of pipe.
