Seadmok Water expands water and sewer services to Michigan, Maryland
(UI) – Seadmok Water has expanded its utility service operations into Grand Rapids, Michigan, aiming to meet rising demand for water and sewer infrastructure upgrades across the Midwest and the East Coast.
The Columbia, Maryland-based contractor specializes in water main replacements, sewer lateral installations, fire hydrant maintenance, and 24/7 emergency repairs. The company announced its Midwest expansion amid aging utility systems and increased development pressure in both Michigan and Maryland, according to Seadmok.
“Our teams are known for fast response times, precision work, and customer service,” the company said in a statement.
Seadmok’s services include:
- Water house connection installations
- Sewer lateral replacements
- Fire hydrant preventative maintenance
- Water valve repairs
In Ellicott City, Maryland, Seadmok recently completed a fast-turnaround fire line installation for Georgia Grace Café. The job involved abandoning two domestic lines, installing a six-by-four tee on a six-inch main, running a four-inch ductile iron pipe into the building, and completing full asphalt restoration—all within 27 hours.
“Seadmok got the job done. They provided quality work in a timely fashion at a reasonable cost. I would not be open without them,” said Paula Dwyer, a business owner.
Another customer, Diane Seibert, added:
“Seadmok Water’s team was professional, competent, and respectful of our property as they installed a new water line. Highly recommend their company.”
Seadmok is certified by the Maryland Department of Transportation, Baltimore City, Howard County, and the District of Columbia. The company says these credentials help it manage both public and private sector infrastructure projects.
With operations now in Prince George’s, Montgomery, Anne Arundel, and Baltimore counties, along with its new Grand Rapids location, Seadmok Water continues to expand as a regional provider of underground utility services.
