California’s Ambler Park boil water notice ends following main break

(UI) — California American Water has lifted the Boil Water Advisory for residents in the Ambler Park Water System in Monterey County, following a water main break last week.

The advisory, initially issued on Oct. 8, after a main break near Barn Owl Court on Oct. 7, was a precautionary measure to ensure water safety.

Residents were advised to boil their water or use bottled water for drinking, cooking, and other household needs while the issue was addressed. The company worked closely with the State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Drinking Water and the Monterey County Health Department during the process.

On Oct. 10, California American Water announced the advisory had been lifted, confirming that the issue had been resolved and it was safe to use tap water again. The company expressed appreciation for customers’ patience throughout the repair process.
