(UI) — Governor Andy Beshear, together with local officials, spotlighted $903,091 in clean water funding dedicated to LaRue County.

This funding specifically supports crucial water infrastructure projects, including the enlargement of a water main along East Leafdale Road for LaRue County Water District #1.

“The funds we celebrated today are bolstering our industry and infrastructure,” said LaRue County Judge/Executive Blake Durrett. “We’re making sure our people are supported, and we’re building a bright future for all citizens of LaRue County.”

The emphasis on clean water initiatives underscores the state's commitment to advancing water quality and infrastructure in LaRue County.

In addition, $415,422 is going to the city of Hodgenville to renovate an industrial water tank.
