Water main break floods Hollywood street, requiring 2 to be rescued

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Two motorists had to be rescued from a swamped car when a water main break flooded a Hollywood street last week.
Los Angeles firefighters extended a ladder out to two women who had climbed onto the top of a swamped car early Wednesday.
The incident occurred before dawn near the U.S. 101 freeway, east of the Hollywood Bowl.
