EDGARD, La. (AP) — A southeast Louisiana parish is telling residents to boil water before using it after a water main break.
St. John the Baptist Parish said Friday that a boil water advisory has been issued for residents in the Reserve, Garyville & Mount Airy areas.
The outage also led multiple schools to cancel classes for Feb. 25, WWL-TV reported.
Officials said water outages might last until the afternoon, but the boil water advisory will continue until further notice.
