South Carolina AD Says Stadium Water Pressure Issue Resolved

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — South Carolina athletic director Ray Tanner says water pressure problems that affected restrooms and concession stands at William-Brice Stadium have been resolved.

Tanner said Tuesday there was a flow issue connected to a valve on an underground line outside the stadium during last Saturday’s 23-13 loss to Kentucky.

Tanner also says there will be several areas set up around the stadium for this Saturday’s home game against Louisiana Tech. Fans will be able to purchase soda, peanuts and candy to alleviate waits at concession stands.

In addition, Tanner says he had received several complaints about high noise level from a new DJ added to game days. Tanner says modifications have been made to make the “sound level more enjoyable.”
