Ohio Village Receives $1 Million for Sewer Project

The Ohio EPA has awarded an $1.16 million low-interest loan to the village of Manchester to improve water quality in the Ohio River by updating sewers and a pump station.

As part of the project, the village plans to rehabilitate sanitary sewers and replace a pump station to reduce sewer overflows that work their way into the Ohio River. They also will use the funding to reline the sewer system and replace manhole covers.
