Corps of Engineers Plans Water Project

The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), has released a presolicitation notice announcing it plans to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation for a firm fixed-price construction contract for a certified small business contractor to complete work at Melton Hill Lock, which includes returning its raw water system to operational service through the replacement of waterlines.

According to the USACE, the project is estimated to be worth between $500,000 and $1 million and a full solicitation is expected to be released on or around August 17, 2017. Additionally, the contractor who receives this contract must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database and have as part of the Registration all current Representations and Certifications.
