Pennsylvania American Water Names New Coatesville Operations Superintendent

Pennsylvania American Water today announced the appointment of Justin Brame to the position of operations superintendent of its Coatesville area water and wastewater systems.

In his new role, Brame will oversee all aspects of the Coatesville operations, including distribution, collection, water treatment and wastewater treatment. Pennsylvania American Water provides water service to approximately 12,000 customers, as well as wastewater service to nearly 6,200 customers in western Chester County.

Brame joined Pennsylvania American Water in 2009, and has served as production supervisor of the company’s G.C. Smith Water Treatment Plant in Hershey since 2015. He has held a variety of positions at the company, including water quality supervisor and relief operator/maintenance technician.

Brame served in the United States Army as a Battalion Fire Support Non Commissioned Officer – Staff Sargent. He is certified in both Class A and E for water systems in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Brame earned a Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia University.
