Sewer Construction Project Underway in California

The Napa Sanitation District has commenced work on the 2017 Collection System Rehabilitation Project, which consists of rehabilitating and replacing 5.7 miles of aging sewer pipelines.

“Our goal is to repair or replace a minimum of 2 percent of the system each year,” Napa Mayor and District Board Chairman Jill Techel said. “Napa San has realized that these areas have many deteriorating pipes and a higher overflow risk than other areas.”

In February, K.J. Woods Construction was awarded a $4.7 million construction contract for the project.  Work is expected to be completed in October 2017.
