Chairman of Colorado PUC Announces Resignation

PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) — The head of the Colorado Public Utilities Commission has announced his resignation.
The Pueblo Chieftain reports (http://bit.ly/2gCzQkc ) that Chairman Joshua Epel announced Tuesday that he will resign two years ahead of the end of his most recent term. His last day will be Jan. 1.
Epel has been chairman since he was appointed to the PUC in 2011. He was reappointed in 2014.
Before Epel joined the PUC, he was a lawyer for DCP Midstream, a natural gas company, and also was a former chairman of the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.
