IPEX expands trenchless offering with cost-efficient, large-size NovaForm PVC liner

(UI) — IPEX, a leading manufacturer of thermoplastic piping systems, has added the 36-inch size to its PVC liner product line, NovaForm.

NovaForm is a styrene-free, expand-in-place structural liner for rehabilitating trenchless sewer and stormwater culverts. This liner combines long-term strength with flexibility, allowing it to handle some of the most challenging installation conditions.

The IPEX liner allows municipalities to repair their failing infrastructure while respecting the environment. Key features include:

  • Time Savings. Upon expansion and cooling, it is immediately ready for use, enabling rapid reinstatement of laterals through robotic processes. This expedited procedure allows for the same-day resumption of service, minimizing downtime for customers.
  • Adaptability. It offers a versatile solution for addressing issues from corroded sanitary sewer to a deteriorated corrugated steel pipe needing repair. With sizes ranging from 6 to 36 inches, this liner provides a reliable and wide-ranging solution for various sewer repair needs, instilling confidence in its diverse applications.
  • Reliability. It is factory-made, quality-controlled, and tested to ASTM F1504 and ASTM F1871 standards and is third-party-certified by CSA and BNQ. Implementing these measures guarantees a uniform end-product for the installing contractor and the end user.
  • Easy Inspection: It ships from the production facility entirely manufactured, with QA/QC procedures completed before shipping. The properties of the liner are known before the installation, making cutting coupons post-installation redundant.
  • Environment-friendly. It is installed, using steam, as an engineered thermoplastic. The only job-site discharge is water.
