Fun Facts: 

  • The tallest building in the United States will soon be constructed in Oklahoma. Developers have submitted plans to build a tower and multi-purpose complex in the proposed building project, The Boardwalk at Bricktown, 1,907 feet high. The Oklahoma City building would become the fifth-tallest building in the world. 
  • About 60 percent of surface water is used for drinking water. 
  • OKC is home to the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Site for Canoe/Kayak, located in the Boathouse District. It’s also the nation’s only urban whitewater rafting and kayaking center.
