Dig into your future at UIC
(UI) — The heartbeat of modern urban life is hidden from plain sight, underground, where the intricate web of infrastructure intertwines to support our daily existence.
To unlock the secrets of this subterranean realm and revolutionize your approach to utility construction, rehabilitation and asset management, there's no better investment than the 2024 Underground Infrastructure Conference (UIC) to be held in Oklahoma City, Okla.
From Tuesday, March 19, to Thursday, March 21, industry experts will converge in a celebration of groundbreaking technologies, providing practical insights into utility construction methodologies, rehabilitation techniques and asset management strategies that will redefine the way you approach projects.
UIC is the ultimate educational opportunity of the year, offering a wealth of knowledge and insights for everyone involved in maintaining our infrastructure. By attending this conference, you will learn from industry experts through informative sessions, workshops and panel discussions.
These sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including the latest advancements in trenchless technology, best practices for asset management, and case studies showcasing successful underground projects. Further, the program qualifies for PDHs reviewed and granted by the University of Texas at Arlington (CEUs are also available).
The Center for Underground Infrastructure Research & Education (CUIRE) host training schools on Monday, March 18. CUIRE’s unique engineering and inspector curriculums will include HDD and Pipe Schools, SAPL, and Microtunneling/Pilot Tube Schools. From CUIRE’s pre-event training to the main program, UIC is a necessity for the infrastructure industry.
CUIRE registration is separate from UIC’s registration, so you’ll need to register early to take advantage of discounts for both programs. See the full program and register here.
And that’s not all! Connecting with like-minded professionals during UIC’s unique networking events is where you can forge partnerships that will propel your projects to new heights. The relationships you build here will be as strong as the foundations you lay!
Share insights and network during fun events like the sewer and water industry’s MVP luncheon honoring Russ Ford of Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam Inc. Spend the evening at the Underground Infrastructure Awards where the industry’s best innovations and projects will be recognized.
Also, the HDD industry will shine brightly at the 2024 UIC. The bi-annual HDD Reunion and Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be celebrated. Add these events to your UIC registration and be prepared to extend the camaraderie beyond the classroom.
